About
The Women in Golf Awards is an annual event celebrating the significant contribution that women, past and present, continue to make to the golf industry. The event was established by Nicole Wheatley and Ben Blackburn whose combined experience in the golf world led them to identify a need to create a platform that would connect, celebrate and inspire.
The Awards bring together women at all stages of their careers, from every sector, showing the diverse nature of the roles women hold in the industry. 2025 saw the awards create a programme of CPD opportunities for women in the industry which will grow again into 2026. The awards will also embark on two significant projects in partnership with the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation, and 59 Club, that will drive the golf industry forward into a more equitable future.
FAQs
When do nominations open?
Nominations open on September 14th and close at Midnight on October 18th
Who can we nominate?
In line with guidance from golf’s governing bodies, the individual awards are open to anyone assigned as female at birth.
How do I nominate?
Simply click on the drop down to select the award you want to nominate someone for. We suggest that you take note of the questions and come back to complete the nomination once you have as much information as possible to support your nominations. The better the nomination, the more likely the nominee is to succeed.
Who are the judges and how does judging work?
We never announce our judges. In fact they don’t even know who else is a judge! To ensure that the awards are judged fairly and independetly, no one involed in the juding process is linked to the organisers of the awards. Each judge is given 2 or 3 categories to review. They use a scoring system for each question which results in a total score for each nomination. The scores from the judges are combined to pick the finalists and winner.
Can I buy a ticket?
Yes. Click here to access our subsidised tickets for the event. These are priced at £84 including VAT.
We will continue to run our ballot for free ticket entries, but have limited access to women under the age of 30.
Do you still offer free ballot places?
Yes, we still offer a limited number of free tickets through our ballot. We have decided to limit these tickets to women under the age of 30 in an effort to enable women who might not otherwise be able to attend to have priority access to the ballot spaces.

Tickets Ballot 2026
The ticket ballot for the Women in Golf Awards 2026 is now open. We have decided to limit access to the ballot places to women under the age of 30 (on the date of the awards). It has always been our aim to enable women at all levels of the industry to attend the event, and with increased availability of tickets due to our new venue, we felt the fairest way to distribute our free allocation would be to target women who were earlier in their career progression.
Once again, the ballot places, and the subsidised paid tickets, are only available due to the generosity of our sponsors. To enter the ballot please fill in your details below.
Our subsidised paid tickets are priced at £84 including VAT. If you would like to purchase a ticket, please click here.
